Stonebwoy has a subtle way of blowing his trumpet which ultimately produces the loudest noise.
The BET award-winning artiste touched on a wide range of issues when he had a chat with Andy Dosty On Hitz FM recently.
One of the eye-catching statements he made was that a lot of Jamaicans do not believe that he is Ghanaian and this because he speaks patois eloquently.
He admitted all along he had thought he couldn’t ‘flow’ like typical Jamaicains but he was surprised to be told by the Jamaicans that he’s good at it which prompted many to doubt his nationality.
He said:
“They don’t believe I am outright Ghanaian. I am an African and we know the root culture and vibes, a Jamaican is a Jamaican but then they say I speak Patois than some of them…"
The Baafira hitmaker also added that music is a universal language hence the natives do not make a mockery of anyone who does not express himself well in the Patois language.
