Newly enskined Dancehall Naa, Shatta Wale has already started talking like the king that he is. According to him, he plans to set up a big studio to train and unearth budding eoiin the town.
Shatta Wale was enskined as the ‘Dancehall King’ by the Chief of Tamale, Nyeb-Dakpema Fusieni Bawa at a short ceremony in Tamale on Friday, June 7. The next day, Dancehall Naa together with Macassio thrilled their audiences a massive concert held in the town.
During an interview on Joy FM with George Quaye, Shatta Wale was asked what he would do for the Tamale youths in his new capacity.
“Yes, I promise the big Chiefs and Elders over there that I will soon set up huge studio in Tamale and teach the youths how to make music. Teach them how to make good songs, get hit songs and make some money out of music.”
“I told them that I would again go into large scale farming, so as to employ more youths over there,” he answered.
