Popular Ghanaian highlife singer, Dada KD has revealed that he will never abandon the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC ) even if situations are getting worse.

Responding to whether he is disappointed by the government’s performance after campaigning heavily for President Akufo-Addo, Dada KD said his affiliation to NPP is for better for worse.

“Even if NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo aren’t better or things are getting worse, there’s no one who can convince me to move and become a member of the NDC,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye. Belonging to a political party is like marriage so we take a vow that it is for better for worse till death put us apart," he stated.

“Proverbially it is said that when you put your hands into the food of an old woman you have to eat it,” he disclosed on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

It can be recalled that the astute musician made an earlier statement that Ghanaians should support political parties whose policies are beneficial to the country.
