Young Ghanaian millionaire, Ibrahim Dauda, known in public circles as Ibrah One, has taken to social media hours after he was reported to have been put on a funeral poster in relation to embattled Menzgold.
Ibrah One took to Instagram, shared a photo of himself having a drink and captioned it, "I'm Way Up. I Feel Blessed."
Ibrah had earlier waded into the issue involving Menzgold Ghana Limited and some authorities of which the Bank of Ghana and Securities and Exchange Commission were part.
The young millionaire indicated that he was willing to die if Menzgold could bounce back and serve its customers after it suspended its gold vault and dividend payment which was sanctioned by SEC.
The gold dealership firm however resumed business as promised on September 28 and sent a communication to its customers concerning their extra value payments.
As a result, an obituary of Ibrah One, was seen making rounds on social media to support the fact that he had lost a serious bet with Menzgold.
However, dividend payment of Menzgold clients is not devoid of challenges with some many clients reportedly have not still received their extra values.
Ibrah One, noted as one of Ghana's youngest millionaires, has indicated his readiness to end his life should embattled gold hub, Menzgold, return to work on September 28.
He wrote earlier, "Should Menzgold resume work on the 28th as promised, I'll kill myself" In yet another post, Ibrah One indicated that, "Customers of Menzgold should accept the fact that there is no money. Even though it is painful to know their monies was paid to them indirectly, they should just accept the fact that they won't get even Ghc1 anytime soon."
One of his earlier posts also suggested that NAM1 had used deposits of Menzgold clients to cater for actors and musicians. He made post which read, “Investing most of those deposits on musicians and seasonal actors who haven’t acted in years.”
The young millionaire went on to assert the fact that even the best lawyers could not help salvage the situation.
“You promised that you would resume business on the 19th of September which is tomorrow. Okay, let’s see how that promise holds…even lawyers from heaven can’t help you. #TalkisCheap,” Ibrah One wrote.
Ibrah One also lamented the number of high-profiled personalities who had their monies invested with Menzgold in yet another post which read:
“Highly educated individuals including lawyers, politicians, Members of Parliament, doctors and others fell for the scam. #Smartmove,” Ibrah One added.
The young millionaire noted for his flashy cars tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Dija Labelle in a private ceremony recently.
The millionaire caught the attention of many Ghanaians when he was seen in a video on his birthday, giving out brand new iPhones to some occupants of a commercial bus popularly known as ‘trotro’.
