“If I were an MP's wife, I’d inspire other wives to step up. Many don’t realize the responsibilities they can take on to benefit their communities,” she said.
Discussing her absence from her husband’s campaign activities, Empress explained that her role as a singer differs from his as a politician.
She chooses to support her husband, Hopeson Adorye, with prayers instead, while focusing on her music career to provide financial support.
“My husband is in politics, but I belong to the masses. I stay in my lane and support him spiritually, even if I’m not on the campaign trail,” she shared, adding that she doesn’t regret previously supporting him in person.
Looking to the future, Empress hinted at her readiness to assume a larger political role if her husband ascends further in government.
Married to Adorye for five years, she is optimistic about potentially becoming an MP or President’s wife someday.
