Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale says if MenzGold which is owned by his boss, Nana Appiah Mensah goes down, it is a clear indication that the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is not in touch with the youth.
Over the past week, there has been a tussle between MenzGold Ghana and the Bank of Ghana over licensing issues and the fact that MenzGold receives deposits which should not be the case.
The youth especially, social media users have defended MenzGold and have called on the Bank of Ghana and other individuals of embarking on a covert operation to see the company fail.
Although Shatta Wale has condemned the Bank of Ghana, his latest post is directed to the President of Ghana.
In a tweet spotted by MyNewsGh.com, Shatta Wale said “So Mr President are you saying Ken Ofori Atta has votes more than your own son Shatta Wale..How can they bring down a structure that is in Favor of the youths of Ghana all in the name of politics..If Zylofon or Menzgold go down it means you don’t care about we the youth of Gh!”.
