It is understandable the feeling he has for Kidi because he featured him and Davido in his Odo remix late last year.
Fast-rising Ghanaian artist, Kidi, born Dennis Nana Dwamena, commented on the collaboration between himself and the Nigerian superstar, Davido and his signee Mayorkun, on his hit song "Odo".
After winning the 2015 edition of MTN's Hitmaker talent show, Kidi's musical career has grown from strength to strength. This to the extent that he's been able to secure a collaboration with one of Africa's biggest - if not the biggest - artistes.
Commenting on how the collaboration with Davido and his signee - Mayorkun came about on Joy News with MzGee weeks ago, Kidi stated that he could not refuse a collaboration with Davido when the offer was made by his signee, Mayorkun.
He related that, contrary to some comments made in the public domain, the remix with Davido wasn't recorded so it can outshine the original.
“Something I’ve always wanted Ghanaians to understand is, the original was loved by many Ghanaians and we didn’t do the remix to come and overtake what you already love,” he said.
According to Mayorkun, he has his single coming up in a week which will also be a banger and encouraged his fans to watch out for the song in just 7 days.
