Rapper and songwriter, M.anifesthas officially released a video for his song ‘Azumah Nelson flow’ in honour of the legendary boxer.
The video which was released on the boxer’s 60th birthday also features the boxing Hall of Famer.
In an interview with TV3’s Micheal Oti Adjei, the musician stated that the legend boxer is the inspiration for the song.
Speaking on his motivation for the song, M.anifest disclosed that he has always been a huge fan of Azumah Nelson since childhood.
“I remember as a big part of my childhood, staying up at 3am,4am and 5am to watch his fight. He inspires me a lot”.
Talking about his love for sports, the singer said growing up, most of the early part of his life was made up of both sports and music, and that he played a bit of basketball while growing up.
He shared fond memories of when he used to play football on the Madina football pitch.
M.anifest said he played football consistently for about two years, and he used to be interested in both music and sports but as time went by, his love for music outweighed his love for sports.
However, he still follows up on sports because, according to him, he used to be active in participating and watching sports till he chose to do music full time.
The musician disclosed that his favorite footballer is Messi, and his favorite Ghanaian footballer is Abedi Pele.
