Meek Mill plans to visit slave castles on his return to Ghana

American rapper Meek Mill announced he’ll return to Ghana in December 2024, primarily to visit Cape Coast's historic slave castles and explore transatlantic slave trade history.

Previously, he expressed interest in Ghanaian citizenship, citing oppression against Black Americans.

His 2022 visit included Afro Nation and a controversial Jubilee House video shoot.
