In a video sighted by www.ghanaweb.com on social media, the dog, which is a pug, responds affectionately as household members sing an endearing happy birthday chorus.
Crowned with a birthday hat, Melo, as the pug is referred to by the family, is assisted by Mr. Santokh Singh to mount the table in anticipation to enjoy the mouth-watering cake before it.
After the chorus is over, the dog gets applause amidst cheers and it wags the tail in appreciation.
All the while, the Multi TV MD is seen beside himself with joy but paves the way for Melo to concentrate on the treat.
The effort put in by Mr. Singh’s family only goes to show the importance of Melo in their lives and essentially how a dog, indeed, is man’s most faithful friend.
