Sensational gospel artiste, Gifty Osei has fired back at rumours making the rounds that her career has hit rocks.
Well Gifty has news to bothers these rumours, she is working on her fourth album which would be released later, this year.
In an exclusive interview with The Spectator Agoro, Gifty said, she releases albums every three years and her next album will coincide with the 10th anniversary of her music career.
“‘Aseda’, my maiden album, was released in 2007 followed by ‘Fefeefe’ in 2010 and ‘Adansedie’ in 2014 and that has been my style” she explained.
Gifty said she was not in competition with anyone. “I'm waiting on the Lord to find soul-winning lyrics for my songs”.
The ‘Fefeefe’ hitmaker said, she was not perturbed by what people say because they were entitled to their opinion.
“I have contributed to the music industry with songs which have won the hearts of many people. One thing that I have learnt in life is that, when you do things to please people, you lose your creativity” she said.
“I am not in the music industry to please people, but rather to project the goodness of Christ and preach the word”.
Part of her anniversary, there would be a music jam for the youth, and on door-to-door evangelism.
Gifty emerged on the musical scene on a low key and became a household name, leaving an indelible mark in the minds of Ghanaians after her energetic performances at the Ghana Music awards in 2012.
With time, she has become one of the finest well known gospel musicians with great a fashion sense.
