My son’s birth was foretold – Shatta Wale’s father
Father of dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has recalled how he received a prophecy concerning the birth of his “special” son.
Read full article According to Nii Armah Mensah Snr, the way his son behaves sometimes does not in any way surprise him as he was already informed that Shatta Wale will be distinctive.
“Even before he was born, God already revealed to me that I was going to have a son. It was revealed to me that there’s a son that is coming up who will cut a great figure. I don’t go about telling people some of these things. I don’t listen to what people say. I’m the only one that knows who my son truly is," he said.
In an interview with NanaAma McBrown on UTV, he also indicated that Shatta drew his inspiration to venture into Reggae music from him.
“Because I was a music lover, specifically reggae, my son chose to follow stead. I really love reggae music a lot and I’m sure he drew his inspiration from that,” he indicated.
Revealing further, he described his Shatta’s decision to flee from home at a point as a “revolt” adding that it was divinely orchestrated.
“There’s always a time of revolt in an individual’s life but we don’t know. God creates that and people are not aware that its God’s doing. I saw Shatta’s decision to leave home as a revolt in his life. It made him evolve,” he established.
