Ghanaian musician Akoo Nana has finally opened up on his deal with Zylofon Media owned by Nana Appiah Mensah.
According to a report by Zionfelix.net sighted by YEN.com.gh, Akoo Nana revealed that the owner of Zylofon Media has promised to sign him on his record label.
The musician in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on the deal revealed that, although he hasn’t been consistent in the music industry, he is ready to work with Zylofon Media to improve on his career.
He, however, mentioned that the record deal is not necessary for him at the moment considering the issues Nana Appiah is battling with.
“Yes I was promised a deal on Zylofon Media by Nana Appiah but it’s a promise though because I think my hard work has finally been noticed,’’ he said.
The ‘Bambala’ hitmaker further added that he owns the street so even if his deal with Zylofon Media doesn’t go through, he will still support him in his works and also be proud that he comes from Kasoa.
He also refuted claims that he is currently supporting Nana Appiah because of his ongoing deal with the label. ‘’The man in question (Nana Appiah) is a Kasoa blood, forget about promises, look I am the only artist who pays ‘payola’ so if you talk promise is nothing.
We run the street, we do our work gradually to make money.’’ "Forget about the deal, I run my own camp and I have boys I also produce’’ he added
Nana Appiah Mensah, the boss of 360 entertainment company, Zylofon Media announced at a ceremony at Kasoa that he will soon add Akoo Nana to the tall list of musicians he has on Zylofon Music.
NAM1, as he is fondly called, at the program divulged that his outfit “is lending Akoo Nana a three-year management deal with Zylofon Music.”
