National Theatre Ready By Jan. '07

The National Theatre, currently undergoing renovation, at the cost of US$2.5 million will be opened to the general public by January, 2007.

The Renovation works on the National Theatre in Accra will be completed by December, this year.

The Theatre has been closed to the public for almost a year due to a contract signed in November 2004 between the government and a Chinese firm, Complant construction.
