French investigators raided Netflix Paris offices on Tuesday morning
French and Dutch authorities raided Netflix offices in Paris and Amsterdam as part of a joint investigation into alleged tax fraud, which began in November 2022.
The probe, led by France's National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF), investigates potential "serious tax fraud" and "off-the-books work."
Netflix’s European, Middle Eastern, and African operations are headquartered in Amsterdam.
French sources revealed Netflix's tax filings for 2019-2021 are under review, with authorities examining whether it minimized profits by declaring French revenue in the Netherlands until 2021.
Netflix has stated it complies with tax laws but hasn’t specifically addressed the raids.
