Popular comedian cum actor, Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, also known as Funny Face, has said in a recent interview that Patapaa made a mistake by responding to Kuami Eugene with a diss song.
Funny Face in a virtual interview with Emcee Bebe, host of ‘Entertainment Xtra’ on Cape 93.3FM posited that Patapaa should’ve kept quiet because Ghanaians fought for him when Kuami Eugene undermined his musical prowess.
According to him, he called Patapaa during the development of the issue and advised him to remain silent because loyal Ghanaians have silenced the ‘Angela’ hitmaker. He noted that it’s unfortunate Patapaa ignored his counsel and went on to release ‘Otita fo’ diss song.
“I called Patapaa and told him to keep quiet because Ghanaians have defended him. Besides, it’s needless to respond because Kuami felt remorseful and rendered an unqualified apology for his demeaning remarks. So, I got disappointed to wake up to hear Otita fo’ by my artiste, Patapa”, Funny Face told Emcee Bebe.
Remember that Funny Face has been an astute fan of the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker. Recall that Togolese international footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor extended a helping hand to Patapaa all because of the influence of Funny Face.
