People gave me pepper, salt and coins when I was performing on the streets – Atongo Zimba

Ghanaian musician Atongo Zimba shared his early struggles as a street performer, recalling accepting pepper, salt, coins, and notes as payment.

Speaking on E Vibes with Becky, he described his daily routine starting at 6 am and ending at 6 pm, collecting earnings in his instrument case.

Exhausted, he relied on paracetamol for sleep.
