Popular Ghanaian musician, Yaa Pono, has pleaded with ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to postpone the date for the premier of his latest work titled Number 12.
According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, the music artiste explained that he wished to promote his upcoming video.
In that respect, he went on, the popularity of Anas’ latest piece makes it difficult for him to market his music.
He, therefore, asked if Anas could consider a change of date for his event so that he (Yaa Pono) could effectively market his work.
He expressed his conviction that if Anas goes ahead to release his video on June 6, he (Yaa Pono) will be unable to finish his video promotion.
“Dear @anasglobal, I beg cool down, so I can small let me promo my video and release it before you hype your show … yours faithfully (ponobiom)”, he allegedly wrote on social media.
The latest investigative piece from the Anas-led Tiger Eye PI team , is allegedly focused on corruption in sports and politics.
At the moment, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, is being investigated with respect to charges of defrauding under false pretenses.
