Veteran high-life musician Rex Omar and entertainment conglomerate Zylofon Media has amicably resolved issues concerning one of Zylofon Media's artiste Obinini who sampled a hook from one of Rex Omar's songs without his permission.
According to sources Rex Omar has decided to let go of the matter and accepted to help mentor artistes on Zylofon Media label
Speaking in an interview with Attractivemustapha.com on the issue, Rex Omar said that he has resolved the issue with Zylofon Media.
He quickly added that his main interest was not to bring Zylofon Media into disrepute but as chairman of Ghana music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), he is supposed to provide enlightenment on copyright related issues.
Rex Omar who initially wrote to Zylofon Media through his lawyers Poku Adusei & Associates of Oyikwan Chambers and gave Zylofon Media a 10-day ultimatum also confirmed to have had a fruitful meeting with Obibini's management team.
