Dancehall artiste, Samini has said he intends to organise a one-man march to Parliament to force the law making body to make laws that will force event organisers to provide Ghanaian entertainers will maximum representation during events in the country.
According to him, he is currently gathering support from some stakeholders in the music industry but if he is unable to get their support he will walk from Dansoman to Parliament house to get Parliament to hear him.
“I am gathering people and some stakeholders in the industry to join me to march to Parliament to present my petition to get Ghanaian acts feature during Prime time when events are organised in the country. If I don’t get the support I need, I will move to Parliament on my own to be heard.”
This move by the legendary Samini has come up after Ghana’s artistes were snubbed for artistes from Nigeria at the just ended CAF awards held in Ghana.
