Rapper Sarkodie has released his analytic overview of his performance on music streaming platform, Spotify.
Yesterday, we shared with you the performance of that of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale with Stonebwoy getting 4 million streams and Shatta 6 million streams.
Sarkodie who dropped his ‘Highest’ album last year, garnered 9 million streams on Spotify with 1 million fans listening to his music on the platform from 65 different countries in the world.
The fans spent 602 hours listening to his music on the platform. With the reports we’ve seen so far from Ghanaian musicians, Sarkodie seems to be the most streamed Ghanaian artiste on the platform.
Earlier Uncle Ebo Taylor released his and he had 8 Million streams on Spotify. At the time of this post, Sarkodie seems to have the highest number with 9 million streams on the music platform.
No wonder, he bragged about his daughter enjoying the revenue from his ‘publishing’ (streaming) revenue in his diss song ‘My Advice’ to Shatta Wale.
Well, 9 million is a huge figure but we hope more people get to listen to our musicians in 2019.
Congrats to all the Sark fans and music lovers who made it possible. If it’s about entertainment news, always visit Ghbase.com for more
