Rapper, Sarkodie has taken his admiration for ace rapper, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko popularly known as Obrafour a notch higher by advocating that Obrafour should also be studied.
According to Sarkodie, Obrafour has over the years proven that he is a legend and worthy of being studied as part of the Junior High School (JHS) curriculum.
The revelation comes at the backdrop of Hammer, ace music producer’s list of top 20/50 best emcees, veteran producer, who should be made a course to study in schools. Hammer posited that among the lot, Sarkodie has achieved something many Ghanaian musicians have not.
Speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s entertainment show [Showbiz Xtra] with Doctar Cann, rapper Sarkodie said “Aside from me, Obrafour should be studied as a course. I will choose Obrafour because he is my all-time best. I think he has worked incredibly hard, even though I aspire to do more than him. Obrafour continues to keep his sheet clean over the years. I have always loved him and he is worth studying,” he said.
However, entertainment critic, Ola Michael says the educational curriculum cannot have Sarkodie as a course but some aspects of his life can be picked and targeted as a case study for some courses.
