Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has broken silence on why he exchanged words with a policeman giving reasons for his outburst as his inability to tolerate unpleasant words from the security personnel, abrantepa.com can report!
Recounting what transpired, Shatta Wale said the issue happened two days ago around his vicinity. According to him, he had given one of his cars to ‘his boy’ to go and wash when the police stopped him and asked for papers of the car.
“My guy told the police he does not own the car so he will call me, the owner… My boy called, I went there and realized I knew the policeman. He is my uncle; I was just trying to get him into the car because I realized people were taking shots. I know the media. Whoever took the video didn’t try. He is my uncle, I love him so much,” he narrated on Entertainment Review, Saturday.
On why he engaged in a verbal altercation with someone he describes as an uncle, Shatta Wale said the police personnel referred to him as a rascal.
“He actually used the word ‘rascal’ on me and that was when I got pissed,” he explained while indicating that the issue has been blown out of proportion.
Meanwhile reports suggest that a woman has been arrested for allegedly filming the incident.
The woman, whose identity has been withheld is said to have been picked up and later granted bail.
