Those who lashed Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale for wearing a fake Adidas hoodie in his controversial 'Biegya' music video, may have to eat back their words.

My search on Adidas' website which is the official website for the brand reveals that the spelling on the hoodie Shatta wale's wore wasn't fake after all.

However, what is not too clear is whether Shatta Wale himself knows the hoodie he wore that had "AdIdas" instead of the usual "Adidas" wasn't a fake product.

This doubt stems from his post on Facebook and an interview he granted on 'AM Pluzz' hosted by Sammy Flex on Pluzz FM last week.

In the post and the interview, he intimated that he believed the spelling of the Adidas on his hoodie was wrong and that he was even advised not to use it but went ahead to use it because he knew it was going to be a subject of discussion.

A day after the launch of his much anticipated album "After the Storm," he posted a picture of Nigerian Songstress Tiwa Savage also wearing a hoodie that also bore the inscription "Adldas."

This evidently shows that most people don't know Adidas officially released that product as a variant. But could Shattawale be pulling another smart one by pretending he didn't know "Adldas" was a another brand by Adidas or that he simply didn't know?

The 'Kakai' hitmaker typical of his smartness, has enjoyed all the buzz in the midst of this issue but it will also be necessary for people to do extensive research on issues before they criticize.
