Addressing the issue publicly, Stonebwoy agreed with Portfolio’s assessment.
During an interview on Onua TV’s Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, Stonebwoy explained that he prioritizes the commercial potential of the remix over fan suggestions.
He emphasized that featuring Screw Face would offer a nice artistic touch but wouldn’t create a significant commercial impact or provide the “wow” factor needed to reach a wider audience.
Stonebwoy added that while he would love to collaborate with a variety of artists, decisions like these aren’t his alone to make, as they involve broader considerations within the industry.
