The management of the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’, Kofi Kinaata, are agitated over nominations attained in the 18th edition of the awards.
The manager of the Confessions singer threw tantrums when the nomination list was unveiled at the official launch of the awards last Friday.
His ‘beef’; he and his artist are not enthused about the artist’s absence in the ‘Artist of the Year’ category and the placement of his songs, Confessions to Highlife category and Sweetie Pie to Hiplife Category.
“Some of the people on the VGMA Board do not know anything about music,” Tony Pun Told Dr. Cann on Happy FM.
He wondered why music experts like Ruddy Kwakye, Mark Okraku Mantey and co. sit on the Board and still come up with such sloppy work.
“They should not kill the industry,” he cried out!
