The young dancehall singer beat competition from Sarkodie, E.L, Edem, Samini, Daddy Lumba, etc. to win the award to climax a good year in his music career since moving away from the Highgrade family.
In a speech after being announced winner, the #Baafira hit-maker said the award “is well deserved.”
“I believe that the other artistes are happy I won…Behold how tall we have grown…This is well deserved,” he said.
Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Edem were the biggest winners on the night after winning three (3) awards each.
