Creative art company, Zylofon Media has finally issued a statement with regards to rumours that BET award-winner, Stonebwoy has parted ways with the record label.
In a press statement published by the media outfit, the detailed list of all signed personalities indicates that the ‘Hero’ hitmaker is still an artiste of the label.
The public notice assigned by the head of communications at Zylofon Media, obviously stated that the creative art firm has the sole right to the use of the artiste’s name, voice, likeness, sound and similar characteristics for the purpose of advertising, promotions, selling and otherwise merchandising discs, tapes and other audio and video recordings produced from master products by artistes under contractual relations.
It was earlier reported by many news portal that Dancehall act, Stonebwoy, has brought his relationship with Zylofon Music to an end.
According to reports, Zylofon Media, the parent company of Zylofon Music, will hold a press conference soon to announce the exit of Stonebwoy from the camp.
There have been reports of Stonebwoy being unhappy with happenings at Zylofon but the recent signing of rival Dancehall star, Shatta Wale, is believed to have been the last straw that broke the camel’s back.
Zylofon Media signed on some of Ghana’s best talents in the music and film industry, including Shatta Wale, Becca, Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Zynnell Zuh, James Gardiner, Bibi Bright, Toosweet Annan, Benedicta Gafah and Sima Brew.
