Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, has released the visuals for his “Le Gba Gbe” video, of his ‘Anloga Junction’ album, in which he championed freedom and liberation from woes.
The BHIM Nation president rehashed the need for one to be happy, free and productive while alive.
The video, directed by Rex, with sound production credits to Mix Master Garzy, also portrays liberation from the chains of slavery and torture.
It comes at a time when there is a global condemnation of the lynching of African-American George Floyd in Minneapolis, USA, by a white police officer who knelt on the handcuffed and unarmed suspect’s neck for almost nine minutes.
During the ordeal, which was captured by cellphone video and has been widely circulated on social media, Mr Floyd was heard telling the white officer and his three colleagues that: “I can’t breathe”.
“Le Gba Gbe”, which means alive in the Ewe language, is the opening track on the Anloga Junction album, the 2015 BET award winner’s 4th studio album so far.
The Anloga Junction Album, released in 2020, has 15 tracks featuring international artistes such as Nasty C, Keri Hilson, Alicai Harley, Diamond Platinumz, Jamiel, Chivv and Spanker, Zatan as well as Ghana’s Kojo Antwi.
