Multiple award-winning reggae dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has joined his colleagues in the fight against Coronavirus by distributing free hand sanitizers to people living in Ashaiman and its environs.
“We’re giving out free sanitizers at the BHIM shop located at Ashaiman as our own way of contributing to stop the spread of COVID-19,” Stonebwoy told Daily Guide recently in an interview.
The dancehall artiste, who is also the CEO of BHIM Nation, has asked residents of Ashaiman to contact his newly opened BHIM shop for free hand sanitizers.
He urged the general public to show empathy towards each other during these trying times.
Stonebwoy explained that the current global pandemic is a chance for everyone to get along regardless of their race, color, ethnicity or political affiliation.
He advised that Ghanaians adhere to rules and regulations meted out by the health ministry.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy, last Saturday, won the Best African Reggae/Dancehall Entertainer award at the 38th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held at the AC Marriott Hotel in Kingston in Jamaica.
