Rex Omar, the NDC’s spokesperson on creative arts, criticized Ghanaian creatives for expecting payment for their work during political seasons.
Speaking on United Television, Omar argued that creatives should make sacrifices for their political parties, rather than demanding money for every contribution, as politicians do during campaigns.
He highlighted the example of a recent NDC event in Kumasi, where no one was paid despite the efforts of creatives to bring people from various regions.
Omar emphasized that, like politicians funding their own campaigns, creatives should contribute selflessly to their parties’ success.
