Actress Yvonne Nelson is advising the Ghanaian public and whoever it may concern to concentrate their attention on dealing with celebrities including Shatta Wale, Jackie Appiah, Stonebwoy, Becca, Jocelyn Dumas, and Okyeame Kwame who appeared in Menzgold Ghana adverts endorsing the company, MyNewsGh.com has filed.

According to the actress, attempts to link her to the company is pure “rubbish”, advising that attention should be given to the celebrities who headlined Menzgold promos and gave them credibility.

Already calls are intensifying for the possible arrest of these celebrities for complicity in the operation of the scam that Menzgold has turned out to be.

One such call is led by Joe Jackson who is the Chief Operating Officer of Dalex Finance who laid blame for the scam on these celebrities.

“In terms of holding people accountable, I think the people who should be held most responsible are all those so-called celebrities, people of responsible influence and give credibility to this scheme,” he had told our sister media 3news.

Reacting to the entire Menzgold celebrities episode and the attempts to draw her name into the fold, Yvonne Nelson blasted:

“Whoever is using my image in this menzgold crap better watch out! I don’t have any investment with them! Why don’t you write about their artistes. Rubbish!!!”

Thousands of customers have their monies locked up in the embattled gold trading firm, following the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) directive, ordering the company to shutdown for trading without appropriate licenses.

There have been several reports of hardships the customers are facing even including some losing their lives. There have been a number of protests across the country by customers of Menzgold who are demanding government bails them out.
