In his rib-cracking performance, Okey Bakassi among other things noted that hotels encourage fornication, actually the bigger the hotel he says, the higher the chance for men particularly to be tempted to get a ‘babe’ for the night, just to fit into the big sized bed and room they have checked into.
His words; “The spirit of fornication dwells in hotels….the bigger and wider the hotel bed, the bigger the spirit of fornication... “Are you going to sleep alone, you’re a stingy man, pick your phone and call someone. Before you realize it, you have gone through your phone and selected one to spend the night with…..In the night, you have retired to bed and as a good man, you decide to choose two out of the six pillows to sleep with but whiles you’re there, the spirit of fornication would be speaking to you to call someone…”, got the crowd crazy with laughter.
The comedian during his performance at the 5th edition of the Easter Comedy Show at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) said that it is very difficult for a male to go to a hotel alone unlike the females who can hang out with their friends.
“Girls are different, they can go to the spa, and girls are the only people who can plan all girls’ vacation, go to a spa, have nails done, do this, go to the club and come back and just chill” but guys “will enter town check in, go to the club’ guys to carry people along unlike girls who are selfish”.
