There’s no money in rap music – Sarkodie has taken all the cash – YPee

Ghanaian hip hop artist YPee, born Andy Agyemang, claims that rap music is no longer profitable.

He notes that most rappers now release singles instead of full albums, citing that even top rapper Sarkodie's major hits are danceable tracks rather than rap.

YPee suggests the genre's financial appeal has diminished.
