Ghanaian singer-songwriter Rocky Dawuni received his fourth Grammy nomination for his single "Rise," nominated for Best Global Music Performance.
On Facebook, he celebrated the nomination, calling it "for Ghana," and shared that "Rise" is the first release from his upcoming album.
Dawuni emphasized his mission to inspire connection through music.
"Rise" was produced by Ghanaian-American Nabeyin and FB Da Mastermind, with sound engineering by Marshall Bryant and executive production by Cary Sullivan.
Released under Aquarian Records and distributed by Tuff Gong International, "Rise" competes against notable artists like Arooj Aftab, Jacob Collier, and Angelique Kidjo in the 2025 Grammys' Best Global Music Performance category.
