In the affairs of men, encountering disappointments and deceit are kinda daily occurrences we just cannot do away with. No matter how much we hate to have the above happen to us, we find ourselves encountering them.
The honest truth is that we at some point disappoint others as well. Call it minor or major, we just disappoint and fail people and we get treated similarly as and when.
It is therefore relevant to find Hope and Absolute Trust in the One who never fails or disappoint.
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (2Cor 1:20)

If He was Faithful in times past, it means He is still Faithful Today. He is our Rock of Ages - and He will never fail us.
