We will acquire TV channel for creative arts events – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, NDC's Presidential Candidate, vows a dedicated TV channel for Ghana's creative arts if elected in 2024.

At a dialogue, he highlighted the industry's potential to create jobs and generate wealth, proposing measures like budget allocation, copyright laws, and international showcases.

Mahama also pledged to renovate cultural centers, establish a film village, and enhance arts education.

His manifesto includes tax breaks, a fund for aging artists, and reviving cultural festivals.

Additionally, he plans to develop tourist sites, build amusement parks, and create a new arts-focused city.

Annual dialogues with stakeholders are also on the agenda for industry growth.
