The rivalry between dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy continued after the just ended 3Music Awards show which was held at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre on Saturday, March 24, 2017
Shatta Wale was adjudged the best Male Act of the Year following a fruitful year under review. Stonebwoy, on the other hand, won the award for Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year to the delight of his fans.
However, it appears both artistes will not be slowing down with their rivalry anytime soon if Shatta Wale’s latest post is anything to go by.
The Shatta Movement boss took to Facebook to mock his record-mate by rhetorically asking “who is the boss?” “Who is the boss now? Overall artiste of the year. Thank you 3Music Awards… Nana Appiah Mensah, this is for you,” Shatta Wale wrote.
His comments sparked heated debate among his fans and that of the Bhim Nation family on his Facebook page. Some fans condemned Shatta Wale, insisting Stonebwoy is the king of dancehall in Ghana. Fans of the “ayoo” hit maker also hit back by supporting their artiste throughout the exchanges.
