Legendary rapper, Sarkodie was rumoured to be on his way to Zylofon Media some time ago. The news gained much currency because of the financial power of Zylofon Media and the fact they have been able to sign two giants in the industry, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
A new report even suggested the multiple award winning rapper was going to the giant media conglomerate to replace the embattled Stonebwoy.
But responding to the rumours for the first time on KOD’s ‘The Zone’ on Starr FM, Sarkodie said even though he respects and appreciates the contribution of Zylofon to the music industry, he is not joining them.
He said:
"I think Zylofon is doing so well for the industry, and I respect what they are doing for the industry. For people to say I am going to Zylofon is more like an April fool prank."
