It is not surprising that a survey by the Center for Democratic Development (CDD) has disclosed that the majority of Ghanaians have expressed doubt in the commitment of President Akufo-Adoo in fighting corruption, Richards Manuribe has opined.
The communication team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said the current President is a man who has endorsed and encouraged corruption under his leadership.
He posited that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is ‘corruptionprenuer’ and benefiting from the acts of corruption.
He likened President Akufo-Addo to a driver who drivers heavy vehicles saying if he [Nana Addo] is a driver, he would be holding driver’s license F.
"President Akufo-Addo is a holder of license F driving corruption in his administration. He is the driving force of corruption in his administration. He is not incorruptible, he is part of the corruption under his administration,” he alleged.
Richard Manuribe added that the President and the presidency are benefiting immensely from corruption and feeling their pockets.
This, he claimed, was corroborated by former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu.
