Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has asked Ghanaians not to pay attention to comments made by former President John Mahama.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), says the party will not accept the results of the 2020 general elections should they suspect any foul play.
“But let nobody assume that we will accept the results of a flawed election,” John Mahama said while addressing party members at the NDC’s 28th Anniversary celebration.
Speaking to this in an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Nana Obiri Boahen said Ghanaians should allow the former President to talk; adding, “he’s entitled to his views; I don’t have to condemn or support him. What matters to me is to urge NPP members to go and register . . . so allow him to talk; his comments will not benefit us in any way.”
