With the increasing incessant attacks on former President John Dramani Mahama in recent times, some executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) suspect the former Consul General to Dubai, ‘Ambassador’ Daniel Osei is being used by some faceless persons to fight Mahama.
They specificallyaccused the Communications Director of Ghana Gas Company Limited, Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu of using him to do a hatchet job against Mr Mahama just because he feels he has refused to kowtow to his whims and caprices.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM MyNewsGh.com monitored, Mr Mashood Seidu the Communication Officer of NDC for the Asante Akim North constituency disclosed that Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu is using Hon Daniel Osei to fight John Mahama but promised that both of them will fail.
Meanwhile the executives dissociated themselves from the utterances of Hon Daniel Osei made against the former President John Dramani Mahama.
A statement signed by Mashood Seidu the Communication Officer for the Asante Akim North constituency said;
“We want to state categorically that Hon Daniel Osei has first of all failed his constituency upon all the positions he has held. He was the DCE of Asante Akim North and later became a consul to Dubai, up till date we have never seen just a single project he did for his constituency and we dare him to prove it. It is so disheartening for insulting and objurgating someone (JM) who elevated you to this height forgetting that you have a lot skeletons in your cupboard”.
Mr Mashood Seidu who hails from Bole but was born in Agogo in the statement said “we are disappointed in the damning attacks on our former President”.
According to the statement the executives of the Constituency are by no means endorsing any Presidential candidature but they believe Hon Daniel Osei’s action is out of order and affects the party as a whole.
