Former President John Dramani Mahama says he is ready to work with the newly elected national executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for victory in the 2020 general elections.
Addressing NDC delegates at Kuntanase in the Bosomtwe constituency in the Ashanti Region on Monday, Mr Mahama congratulated the winners and all candidates for making the congress peaceful and competitive.
He urged the new executives to work with those who were not elected to promote harmony and togetherness.
Mr Mahama said the newly elected national executives inspire hope for victory and he is prepared to work with them when elected as the flagbearer of NDC for election 2020.
He urged delegates of NDC to disregard a supposedly new date for the flagbearership elections, pointing out that members of the National Executives Committee of the party will meet on Tuesday to discuss and announce a date for the flagbearership elections.
