MPs who fail to show up in Parliament should not be paid – Andy Appiah-Kubi

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Andy Appiah-Kubi, has suggested that MPs who fail to attend proceedings should face pay cuts.

He criticized the minority for frequently being absent when their leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, attends court, describing it as a "dangerous precedent."

Appiah-Kubi noted that such absenteeism disrupts parliamentary business and undermines the democratic process.

He proposed that enforcing pay cuts would encourage better attendance and accountability.
