Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has downplayed former President John Dramani Mahama's contribution to Ghana's workforce, attributing massive unemployment to Mahama's administration.
Speaking at the 8th Ghana CEO Summit in Accra, Bawumia claimed the Mahama-led economy was poor compared to the current administration's performance.
He highlighted the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) efforts in job creation, stating they have generated 2.1 million jobs, with 1.2 million in the public sector and 975,000 in the private sector.
Bawumia also emphasized infrastructure achievements, including roads, railways, airports, and public libraries.
The summit, established in 2016, gathers over 500 top leaders annually to discuss business and economic growth.
