A leading member of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and 2016 parliamentary candidate for Obuasi East Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Frank Aboagye Danyansah has attacked utterances of former President John Mahama describing them as political bigotry.
The former President at the weekend during the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) Unity Walk in Cape Coast launched series of attacks on the current government over certain decisions which incurred the displeasure of leading members including Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
But according to the PPP communicator, the former President must be mindful of his choice of words anytime he has opportunity to speak to Ghanaians.
There are reports in the media that the former President at a point described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his appointees as “pigs’ with reference from the literature book ‘Animal farm’ during the party’s unity walk at Cape Coast on Sunday.
Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah explained that the usage of the word ‘pigs’ by former President John Mahama is an indictment on him as former President and Communication Specialist.
According to the outspoken PPP communicator, Mr. John Mahama by extension the NDC is noted for insulting and using abusive words on their opponents in other political parties.
Mr. Frank Aboagye Danyansah also alleged on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM NDC members from the Ashanti extraction are treated with disdain by NDC leadership and this has been demonstrated by Mr. John Mahama himself.
