Ashanti regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by regional chairman Augustus Nana Kwasi regional Chairman have visited Sekyere Afram Plains constituency over the arrest of two party members.
The party members were arrested and kept in custody for several hours after they reportedly challenged a ‘non-resident’ from registering in the constituency in the ongoing voters registration exercise.
Meanwhile, Starr News Isaac Bediako Justice reports that the two-party members have been granted bail after they were denied Tuesday.
The party leadership is in the constituency gather first-hand information on claims of non-residents registering in the area.
