An aspiring Deputy Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Nasiru has accused the Akufo-Addo led-administration of engaging in what he describes as ”Kill, loot and share” governance.
According to him, the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in its less than 2 years in office has been engaging in sharing state funds among themselves and cronies to the detriment of hardworking Ghanaians.
The NPP, then in opposition said create, loot and share is an apt description of the former NDC government in the wake of the several corruption cases including, Subah, GYEEDA, bus branding scandals among others.
But Alhaji Nasiru told Host, Kwaku Owusu Agyei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM Thursday that the corruption that has been witnessed under the Akufo Addo administration is unrivaled.
“Once upon a time, it was said that the NDC was engaging in create, loot and share, today in Ghana under the Akufo Addo administration, they kill, loot and share. As for the NPP, assuming that the NDC were indeed creating and looting, they rather don’t create, what has already been created, they kill, loot and share.
State funds are being shared left, right and centre. What didn’t the NPP in opposition then, say about the Woyome issue, today the Man is walking around. What pains me the more is that in spite of this kill, loot and share, the young ones who were promised jobs are roaming about aimlessly abusing Tramadol and other hard drugs.
Where are the jobs that were promised by the NPP during the electioneering campaign?
“During the NDC’s time an amount of 115million was set aside for the National ID cards projects, an amount the NPP severely criticized as a waste of state funds, now they are in power they allocate $1.22 billion for the same project, and yet they claim they’re protecting the public purse. This can only be nothing but kill, loot and share.”
