Prof. Joshua Alabi rounds up flagbearership campaign in Brong Ahafo Region

Prof. Joshua Alabi, aspiring Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2020 general elections has rounded up his campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region amidst massive support and endorsements from Branch and Constituency Executives of the NDC in the region.

Prof. Alabi met and interacted with party faithfuls in the various Constituencies in the Brong Ahafo Region as well as Regional Executives of the party, where he outlined his message of hope, heard their concerns and answered their questions.

In his interactions with delegates, Prof. Joshua Alabi reiterated his promise of putting the grassroots at the centre of the next NDC government by creating opportunities for hard working party members, providing a sustainable methods of funding and resourcing the Constituencies and building ultramodern and multipurpose party offices for all Constituencies.

Prof. Joshua Alabi also laid out his plan to return the NDC to power by building a robust and effective party machinery with grassroots participation and pledged to ensure that the ruling NPP government becomes a one-term regime.

"When you vote for me, I will give President Akufo-Addo one-term and with your support and the grace of God, I shall be President of Ghana for 8 years and serve you for two-terms. I have a social contract with you and I remain steadfast in my commitment to create jobs for the grassroots of our party, since they are the true owners of the party who always work hard to deliver victory and we must give power back to them", he stressed.

The Brong Ahafo Region delegates gave Prof. Joshua Alabi an overwhelming reception, due to the fact that his message resonated with the grassroots of the party in the region. Many delegates gave testimonies about Prof. Joshua Alabi's visionary leadership, his legacies in public service and his humility and compassion towards everyone who came into contact with him.

The delegates pledged to work tirelessly until Prof. Joshua Alabi becomes the Flagbearer of the great National Democratic Congress for the 2020 general elections.

He will continue his campaign tour of the country and touch base with the grassroots of the party in other regions as well.
