The Savannah Regional Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Malik Basintale has shared a comment on his Facebook wall that aims to re-energise the spirit of the NDC in the Salaga South constituency after the acclamation of the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Salifu Braimah popularly known as “Uncle Sally” in the just-ended NPP Parliamentary primaries.
The controversial but “inspiring” post to NDC faithful from the Facebook account ‘Maleek Basintale’ posted on 20th June, 2020 reads; “Congrats in advance, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah Salaga. At least we now know who we are contesting, A failed MP/ Minister”.
The post which received many comments assured the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Salaga South Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah of victory from the good people of Salaga South in the 2020 election and comes at the back of many other criticisms by the vociferous communicator against the Regional Minister and MP for Salaga South Hon. Adams Salifu Braimah. The Savannah Region NDC Communication Officer has constantly accused the MP for Salaga South for achieving virtually nothing in the region and bringing absolutely no development due to his lack of lobbying skills and incompetence ever since he became a regional minister.
Mr Basintale has always taken on the NPP for failing to develop the Savannah region ever since former President John Dramani Mahama left office and has highlighted the intentions of NDC in making the Savannah region a World Bank of the party by sweeping all the seats for the NDC in the upcoming 2020 election.
He claims NDC governments records are clear and their projects are still visible in every corner of the region.
